Annual Meeting & Business Leadership Awards

The event showcases GNHCC’s achievements and features the election of its Board of Directors. It also includes the presentation of the Corporate Heritage Award, which honors businesses that have successfully operated for over 100 years.

Additionally, the Business Leadership Awards recognize individuals and businesses that demonstrate exceptional leadership and actively contribute to business and community organizations.

QCC Connecticut Manufacturing, Engineering & Technology Career Fair

This event is FREE and open to the public. We have a vast array of job opportunities as well as interview technique workshops.

Nonprofit Board & Volunteer Recruitment Fair

This FREE event connects potential board members and volunteers with nonprofit organizations that have board openings and volunteer opportunities. This networking event not only targets the nonprofit industry, but it also welcomes for-profit companies interested in working within the nonprofit community. Attendees learn how board service can affect change and strengthen the local community. Presented by the Nonprofit Resource Council.

QCC Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner

This event unites the regional business community to celebrate QCC’s achievements while looking ahead to the coming year. It features the election of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, the presentation of multiple awards honoring outstanding businesses and individuals, and the awarding of scholarships to exceptional high school students pursuing higher education.

Health Care & Life Sciences Award

An annual networking event hosted by the Chamber’s Healthcare Council & Life Sciences Council. This gathering recognizes Chamber partner companies with outstanding wellness programs through the Wellness Awards. The event attracts over 250 attendees and features a keynote speaker or panel discussion, along with exhibits from HCLS partners.

QCC Annual Golf Classic

The tournament serves as a major fundraiser for the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce Charitable Trust. It’s a great way for companies to enjoy a relaxing day of golf and networking. The Golf Classic is open to the general public as well as companies from both QCC & GNHCC.

Policy Summit

This event features a facilitated discussion about policy issues that are relevant and meaningful to the business community. Attendees will hear perspectives on policies and topics including workforce, transportation, economic development, and more. After the summit, join the regional business community for an evening of networking, food tastings, wine & spirits, and live entertainment.

QCC Women's Achievement Awards Luncheon

Honoring women who demonstrate exceptional leadership in business or the community, achieve noteworthy results, mentor and support other women in business, and actively participate in business and community organizations.

The Big Connect Business-to-Business Expo

The Big Connect hosts an impressive lineup of speakers and provides new opportunities to build your business connections. Highlights include the Nonprofit Stars Align Awards Breakfast and The Big Taste. This is an all-day event that draws almost a thousand individuals.

A celebratory event for North Haven along with Wallingford businesses to decorate their windows and outdoor areas for the holidays. The community will then vote for their favorite display.

Regional Legislative Forum Breakfast

The Legislative Breakfast is supported by the GNHCC Government Affairs Committee. The event features conversations with legislators, and is attended by local mayors and first selectmen of the Greater New Haven area.

QCC Mayor's State of the Town Address

The Wallingford Mayor delivers a state of the town address highlighting economic development achievements, budget, grand list growth, safety, and public utility updates.

Internship & Career Fair

The fair attracts both career seekers and employers in the Greater New Haven region. This event is FREE, open to the public, and offers a comprehensive array of benefits – educational seminars and speakers, resumé strategies, career coaching, networking, and company exhibitors looking to fill high demand roles in a variety of industries.
