| Health Care Council |
Acts as a resource for individuals and companies new to the industry or to the region to identify issues and establish a health care legislative agenda. The HCC also acts as a resource for individuals and companies new to the industry or to the region and to identify issues and establish a health care legislative agenda. The Council meets on the first Wednesday of the month at various locations.

| Human Resource Council |
The HR Council is committed to the interchange of ideas, the education of its members, a resource for the information and a vehicle for the distribution of information. The HR Council is composed of representatives of companies who are members of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and responsible for the Human Resource tasks in their company. The Council meets on the fourth Friday of the month.

| Non Profit Resource Council |
The Not-for-Profit Resource Council (NPRC) is comprised of senior-level executives and board members of not-for-profit organizations, and business professionals who have experience working with these organizations. The Council provides a forum where not-for-profits can share information and best business practices and explore possible collaborations and partnerships with for-profit members of the Chamber. The council meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Solo-preneur Council
This committee is comprised of sole proprietors who meet regularly to share ideas, challenges, opportunities and best business practices in pursuit of individual success. Its objectives include networking and targeted seminars aimed specifically to assist sole proprietor members of the Chamber. The Steering Committee of the group is responsible for strategic planning to acheive these goals and objectives. The Steering Committee meets on the second Monday of the month and the Council meets on the fourth Monday of the month.

| Sports Council |
The Sports Council monitors the professional and college-level sports offerings in the region, assists with marketing, and hosts several sports-focused events each year. This group of enthusiastic volunteers closely monitors the key role sports play in the economy. The Sports Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

| Technology Council |
The Mission of the Technology Council of The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce is to educate and promote the awareness of how technology can improve a company's productivity. Monthly meetings include presentations by experts in the fields of information technology, office productivity, software and hardware solutions and security. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month.

| Woodbridge Bethany Business Council |
In alliance with the Greater New Haven Chamber, the Woodbridge Bethany Business Council provides business and community leadership to improve the business environment and increase business opportunities within the Woodbridge and Bethany communities. The Council meets on the second Thursday of the Month at Coachman Square in Woodbridge.

| Ambassadors |
This team of enthusiastic volunteers orients new members to Chamber events and policies and helps them find meaningful ways to get involved. |
| Executive Committee |
Appointed by the Board of Directors, the Chamber’s Executive Committee is comprised of the Officers and experienced Board members representing different industry sectors. The Executive Committee shapes Chamber policies and programs and recommends them to the Board. This committee meets the second Wednesday of each month. |
| Finance Committee |
The Finance Committee meets once a month to review the monthly financial statements and develop the annual budget. |
| Golf Classic Committee |
The Golf Classic Commitee organizes and presents the Chamber’s annual golf outing held each July. This committee meets from April through July at the Chamber on the fourth Thursday of the month.. |
| Governmental Affairs Committee |
This committee is comprised of hard-working volunteers who develop the Chamber’s legislative agenda. The Committee also produces a Regional Legislative Agenda which is unique in the State, a slate of priority issues adopted by eight regional entities: the Chamber, Workforce Alliance, Regional Growth Partnership, South Central Regional Council of Governments, Arts Council of Greater New Haven, Greater New Haven Convention & Visitors Bureau, South Central CT Regional Alliance, and New Haven Manufacturers Association. The Regional Legislative Agenda is promoted at the General Assembly by a coalition of these agencies and the Chamber.
Together with the Chamber’s Director of Governmental Affairs, the Committee advocates for policies and funding for the region and keeps Chamber officials and members informed about legislative issues. The Governmental Affairs Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. |
| Leads Groups |
The Chamber has four leads groups comprised of individuals from different industries who meet twice a month and form alliances with one another to identify prospects and foster increased business opportunities.
Leads Group 1 - Meets at 8am the first and third Thursday of each month at the Graduate Club. For details, call Bob Felice at 777-3960.

| Expo Committee |
A sub-committee of the Membership Committee, this group works to develop and implement strategies aimed at promoting specific Chamber needs. Meets the second Friday of each month. |
| Membership Committee |
This committee works to find innovative ways to attract new Chamber members and retain current members. The Membership Committee meets the third Wednesday of each month. |
